Monthly Chapter News
The Omaha chapter hosted two fun events this spring. We appreciate all the members and guests that attended these events.
At the end of April we held our spring social event at Locked Room Omaha followed by drinks and appetizers at DJ’s Dugout. Thanks to the extraordinary escape room skills of our guests we were able to successfully escape.

Our annual Fund Raising Dinner was held the beginning of May. Our guest speaker was Moniki Gunn. Moniki currently serves as the Director of Employee Relations for Boys Town in Omaha. Moniki is also the founder of Put Me In Coach Coaching and Consulting. Please visit our chapter website at omahaafwa.org to see photos from the meeting.

The highlight of the Fund Raising Dinner is the basket raffle. A big thank you to the following individuals that donated baskets for the dinner. Because of your donations we were able to raise $400 for our education fund.

Get Involved
Now is the time for you to decide how to become more involved with the chapter. The backbone of the chapter is the members that volunteer to serve on the Board of Directors or on a committee.
No special skills are required for these positions. There is a place for you even if you can only serve for a few months. Each of us can make a difference if we just take that first step and volunteer.
Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in a specific Board or committee position.
