National Membership Application Fee

Membership Types

Corporate Membership

• Companies that enroll five or more members at the same time. Individuals who become members under this plan will receive all the benefits of AFWA membership at a special discounted dues rate.

Regular Member

• Actively engaged in accounting or finance for two or more years, or
• Hold a valid CPA certificate, its equivalent, or other accounting or financial certifications with similar education or experience requirements, or
• Hold a Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance, or its equivalent.

Affiliate Member

• Not actively engaged in accounting or finance, and
• Have a substantial interest in accounting or finance.

Associate Member

• Actively engaged in accounting or finance with less than two years experience.
• Limited to two years.

Retired Member

• Age sixty-five or older and a regular or associate member for the shorter of five consecutive years or the life of the Chapter; or
• Retired from all gainful employment due to disability as of member’s anniversary renewal date; or
• Age fifty-five or older and retired from all gainful employment and a regular or associate member for the shorter of ten consecutive years or the life of the Chapter.

Student Member

• Regularly enrolled students in post-secondary educational institutions majoring in accounting, finance, or its equivalent.
• Limited to two years following attainment of qualifications for regular membership.
